My first ever cover, of one of the mainstream birding magazines. British Birds October 2012. The photo is of a juvenile Upland Sandpiper, taken on St Marys, Isles of Scilly, in October 2011. This edition covered the 'Rare Birds in Great Britain 2011'. It also contained a few of my other photos from that year too.
